Where Do We Collect Your Personal Data From?

We collect your personal data –

  • When you visit our website or social media pages and use the contact us facility.
  • When you fill up and submit your information via the Enquiry form / Registration form/ Admission form.

How Do We Use Your Personal Data?

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • If you are sending us a message via the contact us facility, we will collect your personal data to respond to your queries via phone or mail.
  • If you are a website visitor, we process your personal data to optimize your website experience and customize content.
  • If you are a vendor, we collect your personal data for onboarding and invoicing purposes.
  • If you are a prospective employee, we collect your Personal Data for employment evaluation purposes.
  • If you submit your personal data in our registration form for trainees, we will collect your personal data to facilitate your participation in the program for which you have registered for.
  • If you are filling in a registration form/admission form, we process your personal data for the purpose of facilitating your admission to the educational institute.
  • If you are filling out the inquiry form (digital /physical form), we process your personal data for the purpose of informing you about admission openings in the educational institute via phone or email.
  • If you are a student in our educational institute, we process your personal data for the purpose of providing education services and extra-curricular activities to you, and monitoring your progress and educational needs;
  • If your parent is using our Parental Application, we process your personal data for the purpose of communicating announcements, your academic progress, fees payment and attendance.
  • If you are absent or arrive late to the educational institute, we process your personal information to notify your parents/guardians regarding your attendance.
  • Other than as specified above, we will be processing your personal data as and when required until the completion of the education in our institute.

On What Legal Grounds Do We Process Your Personal Data?

We process your Personal Data by relying on one or more of the following legal grounds:

  • You have consented to us processing your personal data for specified reasons
  • In case of minors (below the age of 18), your parent or legal guardian has consented for specified reasons
  • You have voluntarily provided your personal data to contact us.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permissible under the law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, information, or other intangible losses (even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages), arising out of this Privacy Policy.

Governing Law, Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution (courts in Chennai will have exclusive jurisdiction )

This Privacy Policy shall be construed and governed by the laws of India without regard to principles of conflict of laws. However, if a dispute resolution mechanism is available under a separate statute relevant to the Privacy laws, that mechanism shall be the primary method for resolving the dispute under this notice. In the absence of such a mechanism, all disputes, differences, claims, controversies and the like, which may arise between the parties to this Privacy Policy, including construction, meaning or operation or effect of the same shall be referred to arbitration of a sole arbitrator to be nominated by the MCCI Arbitration, Mediation and Conciliation Centre (MAMC), at the request of the authorized signatory of either TVS Educational Society or yourself, as the case may be, and such arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, or its statutory amendments, and in accordance with the MAMC’s Rules of Arbitration and Conciliation or its amendments, in English language, and the seat of arbitration shall be at Chennai. The Award passed by the Arbitrator shall be final and binding on both the Parties.

For any interim relief, the courts in Chennai shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
